- Rinse the tomatoes and cucumber thoroughly under cold water. Dry gently with a clean towel.
- Cut the tomatoes into generous wedges, then slice the cucumber into thick rounds of about 1 cm.
- Peel the red onion and cut it into thin rings.
- Arrange the tomatoes, cucumber, and onion rings harmoniously in a large, shallow bowl.
- Gently add the whole Kalamata olives on top of the vegetables.
- Take the block of feta and cut it into generous pieces or thick slices; avoid crumbling it.
- Sprinkle the dish with dried oregano, crumbled between your fingers to release its aroma.
- At the last moment, generously drizzle the salad with the extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar.
- Finish by seasoning to your liking with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Gently mix everything together just enough for the flavors to meld without crushing the feta or damaging the vegetables.
