Une authentique horiatiki salata comme on la déguste en Grèce, composée de tomates juteuses, concombre croquant, oignon rouge, olives Kalamata et feta crémeuse, le tout sublimé par une simple mais délicieuse vinaigrette à l'huile d'olive et à l'origan.

  • 4 Stück große reife Tomaten
  • 1 Stück frische Gurke
  • 1 Stück mittelgroße rote Zwiebel
  • 200 g griechischer Feta AOP
  • 100 g Kalamata-Oliven
  • 2 Teelöffel getrockneter Oregano
  • 4 Esslöffel extra natives Olivenöl
  • 2 Esslöffel Rotweinessig
  • Meersalz
  • frisch gemahlener schwarzer Pfeffer

Method
 

Anleitung
  1. Rinse the tomatoes and cucumber thoroughly under cold water. Dry gently with a clean towel.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into generous wedges, then slice the cucumber into thick rounds of about 1 cm.
  3. Peel the red onion and cut it into thin rings.
  4. Arrange the tomatoes, cucumber, and onion rings harmoniously in a large, shallow bowl.
  5. Gently add the whole Kalamata olives on top of the vegetables.
  6. Take the block of feta and cut it into generous pieces or thick slices; avoid crumbling it.
  7. Sprinkle the dish with dried oregano, crumbled between your fingers to release its aroma.
  8. At the last moment, generously drizzle the salad with the extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar.
  9. Finish by seasoning to your liking with salt and freshly ground pepper.
  10. Gently mix everything together just enough for the flavors to meld without crushing the feta or damaging the vegetables.
